If you haven't been flying for a while and have not upgraded your firmware to version 4.xx , you may find your Flarm refuses to operate. News - Check your Flarm performance
Flarm have embedded Flarm data in the IGC files logged in all flarm devices. Check the efficacy of your installation by uploading one of your Flarm collected IGC files to the Flarm Range Analysis tool. It will take a 30 to 40 seconds to upload. The staff at Swift Avionics have a passion for recreational flying. We are involved in the sport ourselves and look forward to serving our flying friends. 20 years ago the Owner of Swift Avionics, Mark Fisher, built a small electronic audio vario for Hang gliders as well as a voice operated microphone .

The Vario was called the “Wedgie” and was used by pilots all over Australia. It proved to be a reliable and sensitive instrument and helped many a hang-glider pilot find their way skyward. There are still some flying today!

Since those days Renschler Hang Gliding Instruments were added to the product range of Sport measurement devices at Swift Performance Equipment. The addition of the fantastic range of Instruments from TL-Elektronics resulted in the birth of Swift Avionics. In September Swift Avionics acquired the rights to the products of RF-Developments, including FLARM and Altair products.

Our goal is to provide you with not just the products you need, but the expertise and support a customer deserves.
